Francois van Well

Born and raised in The Netherlands, sailing small dinghies on the rivers, built small sailing and racing keel boats in early teens and went to boarding school in Wales, UK for two years and headed up the sailing team there consisting of Lasers and Laser 2’s in 1986-87. Graduated from Delft University with MSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and sailed keel boat races, including nationals throughout The Netherlands and offshore up to 1300 nm and also in Mediterranean (Greece). Worked for FEADSHIP for nearly 14 years, moved to the US in 2006 and now work for Rybovich in West Palm Beach virtually next door to the Palm Beach Sailing Club. Always been in yachting, both professionally as well as hobby. Involved in organizing and sponsoring races and events, from local races to the world’s largest superyacht regatta (St Barth’s Bucket Regatta) and have a heart to support the next generation to get involved in yachting in whatever fashion they desire
