Sue Slater grew up in the Chicago area sailing Sunfish in the summers on Lake Michigan. Moved to the West Palm Beach area in 1982. Served as CFO of a multi-million dollar corporation until she decided that she preferred self-employment. Sue retired in August 2019 after 25+ years of self-employment. I have been involved with youth sailing for about 20 years. She served as Commodore of Palm Beach Sailing Club as well as their Treasurer and was a founding director of the Youth Sailing Foundation of the Palm Beaches. Over the years, she has continued sailing with her husband while bareboat chartering in many locations. She is still actively involved in Palm Beach Sailing Club and an active supporter of their youth sailing program.
